Kidbrooke Village - Cator Park
Client: Berkeley & London Wildlife Trust
Completed June 2019
The ecology panel illustrates a playful cross-section of the park showing the wetland, Chalk Stream and showcasing the varying ecological habitats. Includes information such as plant species, biodiversity value, wildlife, maintenance & management of habitat areas and SUDS.
The history panel shows the history of the area in a form of a timeline from its inception to the current design. The Kidbrooke site has an historic past as the, highly acclaimed RAF base. Following World War II, the site was marked for Development and became the Ferrier Estate. The Estate was built in 1968 by the LCC and was deemed the height of post modern Brutalist architecture.
